Entry Doors

We have done a number of projects where we have removed a single door, reframed the opening to create a larger opening and installed a door with a sidelight or sidelights, or even a double door unit. Patio doors and garden or terrace doors are in this category also.

With an aluminum capped exterior frame in a variety of colors, these doors are truly maintenance free. The doors are available in both steel and fibreglass and we offer staining and varathaning of the fibreglass doors prior to installation.

Schlage is the preferred choice of doorknobs, locks, handlesets, and we look after a number of insurance claims each year where homes have suffered break-ins.

Occasionaly on removing an old window or door, we will discover rot in the framing under the door or window sill, and this has to be replaced/repaired before the new window or door can be installed. This istypically not a large expense but MUST be looked after before the new unit goes in.

Windows

The important thing with replacement windows and doors is the fit and finish. Most manufacturers make doors and windows for new construction, but with replacements, they need to fit both the inside and the outside, as well as being made of high quality materials and sealing properly.

We have many, many designs of glass available in order to create a custom look for anyone's home. Windows can be double or triple pane sealed units, and low E coating on the glass is standard, and come in a maintenance free vinyl frame in either white or sand color.

A new service we currently offer is the cutting out of concrete basement walls and installation of legal sized basement windows. The entire cutting of the concrete is done from the outside, so the majority of the mess is kept out. Many basement are already finished, so the package includes the re-framing and finishing on the inside, as well as weeping tile and window well on the exterior.
